Sophia Ramos Sophia Ramos is the best woman singer in NYC, maybe in the USA, maybe even the world! She's a cross between Janis Joplin, Patti LaBelle and Jimi Hendrix. I was a fan of her now-defunct band, Sophia's Toy, and I was pleased to sing backup for her at the Loser's Lounge at NYC's Fez, where this shot was snapped.
